Service

Chris served in the United States Navy from 1997 to 2004 as a Machinist's Mate Second Class (MM2) and a qualified Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist — roughly seven years, including nearly four years of sea service — and was honorably discharged at the rank of Petty Officer Second Class (E-5).

He earned the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for service in a designated expeditionary operation, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Good Conduct Medal (twice), and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (twice).

Today

Chris builds AI agents for markets and life — local-first, privacy-first. He created RepoHunter, an open-source tool built with his AI agent, Ziggy, and gives back to veterans and their K9s rather than taking "coffee" tips. His work is a proof point that a determined first-time developer, paired with AI, can ship real software in the open.
